Chicken Fried Steak With Country Gravy Recipe

2 medium sized cube steaks
2 cups white flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pepper
2 teaspoons Greek seasoning
2 teaspoons onion salt
2 teaspoons celery seed
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon Crisco Shortening
1/2 – 1 cup Crisco Oil
1 package McCormick Original Country Gravy

In a medium Pyrex casserole dish whisk eggs and milk together.
In a gallon size Ziplock bag add all the dry ingredients except the gravy mix. (flour, salt,
pepper, Greek seasoning, onion salt, celery seed)
Dredge the cube steaks in the egg and milk mixture. Then place the meat in the ziplock
bag and shake making sure to cover both sides of the meat.
Take the meat out of the bag shaking off excess flour and re-dip in the egg and milk.
Put the meat back in the Ziplock bag and shake again.
Remove the meat from the bag shaking off any excess flour and place in preheated pan.
Fry approximately 3-4 minutes on each side.
The steaks should be a golden brown and crispy when done.
Make the gravy according to the instructions on the McCormick package.
Arrange the meat on a plate. Using a gravy spoon ladle the gravy over the meat.
