President Trump’s New Life

April 30, 2017 Turtle Toots 1

Would I ever want to be the President of the United States? I can honestly answer with a resounding NO! Yes, it would be cool to be such an important person but the pressure of the job would not be worth it to me. Have you noticed

Living With My OCPD Mom

I always knew there was something different about my Mom. She never seemed very emotional. She wasn’t particularly loving. I can only remember once holding her hand. There were no hugs or kisses. She was pretty standoffish.

I Survived The Barium Enema X-Ray

I read all the horror stories on the gastro forums about the pain, cramping and discomfort people went through during the barium enema test. I prepared myself for the worst.

To prepare for the test I had to go on a two day fast. My test was on a Monday so I couldn’t have solid food all weekend. I survived on banana popsicles and lime Jello. I was starving!

Thumbs Down Hollywood. Stick To Acting.

Don’t let looks deceive you. This summer I stayed in a very nice motel. It looked very clean and well kept. But I’ve read all the horror stories about the hidden germs and other things that can’t be seen with the naked eye. I’m not germophobic by any means. I’ve just seen and read too many things about what happens in a hotel room.

Our Little Bubble Car The Isetta

Believe it or not the BMW Isetta was our family car in the late 1950’s. It seated three people which was perfect for my Mom, brother and me. Our Isetta was white with red interior with a sun roof on top. To get in you opened the front and climbed in then turned to sit down. It was a four speed with the gear shift on the left. It had to be like that because otherwise the gear shift would be in the way of the passengers. I am impressed that my Mom learned to shift with her left hand.
